Master Planning – As a part of the master plan process we determine the needs and desires of the owner, and analyze the conditions and potential of the property. We combine these items into a document that shows both the eventual full development of the property, but also how the project can be developed in stages to meet the budget. Master plans may show site grading, planting layout, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and other hardscape items.
Hardscape Design – Once an overall concept has been developed, detailed plans can be developed for specific areas or projects. These construction plans may include designs for retaining walls, walkways, patios, decks, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, swimming pools, and water features. We work to select materials and forms to compliment the existing structure and landscape, but also show the taste and sensibility of the owner.
Grading Plans – Many properties have issues related to site drainage and steep areas. With a grading plan we can identify those problems and develop a strategy to address them. These solutions may include french drains, connecting gutter downspouts to a drainage system, yard drainage inlets, rock-lined swales, or corrective site grading. In an ideal world these issues are correctly at the time of construction, but Adapto EDG is adept at meeting drainage requirements while minimizing impacts on the existing property.
Planting Plans – The plants are the heart and soul of our landscape plans. We pride ourselves on our ability to select plants that offer year-round beauty, will thrive in the specific site microclimate, and will enhance the overall landscape. Many properties have problems with deer – we know what plants are deer-candy, and which ones to use for a durable landscape.
